(old search) |  An Exhausting Weekend Posted June 05, 2006 at 02:45:22 PM by Bean Last weekend turned out to be fairly hectic. Here's the lo-down:
Friday night, Stef's friends Matt and Jen came in town. We conversed and whatnot until about 1am, and then retired to bed. Stef and I got up at 7am Saturday to go run a 5k. We got back around 9am and ate breakfast. Stef's other friends Geoff and Jessica showed up around 11:30 and we all headed out for lunch and shopping at on Frankfurt Ave. in Louisville. Around 3, I headed home to ron day voo with Alex while they headed to the Falls of the Ohio Fossil Beds. Alex is our intern this summer, and he's also living in our spare bedroom. Anyway, I got a call from him right when I got home - his car had died on the interstate off-ramp. I hopped back in the car, drove to my dads, got him and his truck, and we towed his car to my dad's garage. We took out the old battery, swapped in a new one, and headed home. Got there at about 5. Left at 6 to attend Andy Barkley's bachelor party (good tims!). Got back at 6am. Woke up at 10 to hang out with Jeff and Jessica for a few minutes before they left and we headed out to Stef's company picnic. Got home around 4pm Sunday and WENT THE FUCK TO BED. Woke up in time for dinner, some FOX TV, and a few games of MarioKart. Retired to bed around 9:30 and slept like a rock.
