I wanted it to be something special and unique, but decided to hold out for 1000. So, instead, here's some YouTube Lost goodness.
First off, the Lost Experience (summer online interactive treasure hunt/game) is finally wrapping up. I didn't follow it very closely after the first few, but I did check in once in a while. Here's a video that sheds some light on the #'s and the island. Here's a spoiler showing some scenes from the upcoming s3 premier. Looks like a mouse-in-a-cage experiment to me. Lakes Posted September 22, 2006 at 09:38:12 AM by Bean As previously mentioned, Stef and I enjoyed back to back weekends at lakes. We went to Rough River with my buddy Mike and then followed that with a trip to Lake Cumberland with Stef's friend Catie.
Rough River: We spent a lot of time on and in the water, and behind (via rope) the boat. Here are all the pics and movies I managed to take. The day generally went like this: Get up and eat a huge homemade breakfast (cooked by Mike's parents), pack the cooler, and hit the lake. Drink beer, swim around, ride the tube, jump off cliffs, drink more beer, then head back for lunch. Eat, repack cooler, head out, repeat until dark. Drink more beer, play some cards, retire when walking becomes difficult. We had a great time, and it was awesome to see the lakehouse I used to visit when I was 10 (Mike and I have know each other since we were 0 or so). Lake Cumberland: It was "Poker Run" weekend and we stayed on Catie's parents houseboat. Said houseboat was huge, and located on State Dock, which was basically a big party. I forgot my camera. Didn't spend much time in the water (except on the jetski!), but we did sing a lot of Karaoke, drink a lot of beer and tequila, party it up, and chow down on some good grub. It was a 180 degree turn from Rough River - not so much nature - just lots huge ass boats full of drunk ass people. Good times were had by all, on both weekends. I sure hope we were good guests, cause I wanna get invited back!

4-Day Weeks Posted September 08, 2006 at 02:59:47 PM by Bean It's been a quick week. 4 days weeks are the best, especially when the follow a 3-day weekend and are surrounded on both sides by weekend trips to lakes, which is the case for me, this week, boo yah. I'll post pics from both trips next week.
