It was originally a 3/2 sectional with a large corner table, but I removed the corner and put the 2 and 3 segment sections together to form what Stef and I refer to as Megacouch. I know that I am at least the 4th owner of this couch, and It's definitely seen some colorful times since being under my care.
I spent about 5 hours in the basement Saturday reorganizing, cleaning, and yes, weeding out the things we no longer have room for. The time has finally come to set Megacouch free. Stef put in a call to our trash service and they will be sending a truck Wednesday pick it up, along with a few old recliners. After a great suggestion from Steve, I inked up a sign that sums up my feelings towards Megacouch, then dragged it to the curb. I hope someone saves it from eternal rest at the Clark/Floyd landfill, but I'm not holding my breath. I'll miss it. Garden 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 at 09:40:19 AM by Bean We've had mixed results from our garden so far this year. The tomato plans have done great, and the cukes managed to pop up on their own this year. The watermellons seem to be doing good so far, too, but the pepper plants are hurtin'. Luckily, I have a few more plants going in pots indoors that are keeping me supplied with enough peps for homemade salsa - I'll blog about those another day. Anyhow, here's a shot from the deck looking down on the garden, and here's a few early fruits (or veggies) of our labor.
